Mario Jerrel Williams (* 31 January 1985 in Richlands , North Carolina ) is a former American American football poker players on the position of the defensive ends . In the 2006 NFL Draft he was selected by the Houston Texans as the overall first , for whom he played in the National Football League (NFL) until 2011 . He then played for the Buffalo Bills from 2012 to 2015 . He was most recently under contract with the Miami Dolphins in 2016 . He was elected to the Pro Bowl four times .

Houston Texans

Coming from North Carolina State University , Williams was selected 1st in the 2006 NFL Draft by the Houston Texans . He is 1.98 m tall and weighed 134 kg.

His first sack of the season he could against the quarterback of the Miami Dolphins , Daunte Culpepper , achieve. Three weeks later there was another sack against Byron Leftwich and he captured a fumble . His 2006 season stats were 45 tackles and 4.5 sacks.

Buffalo Bills

Williams moved to the Buffalo Bills for the 2012 season , where he signed a six-year contract as the highest-paid defense player in NFL history. He was released from the Bills on March 1, 2016.

Miami Dolphins

On March 9, 2016 Williams signed a two-year contract with the Miami Dolphins over 17 million US dollars .

After the 2016 season , Williams was released from the Dolphins to the Free Agency after just a year on the team after scoring just 1.5 sacks.
