Terry Paxton Bradshaw (nickname "Blonde Bomber"; born September 2, 1948 in Shreveport , Louisiana ) is a former American American football player. In the position of quarterback he played from 1971 for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the National Football League (NFL) and led the team to four Super Bowl victories between 1974 and 1980 . 1979 Bradshaw was by the magazine Sports Illustrated for Athlete of the Year chosen.

Terry Bradshaw retired from active sport in 1983 and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1989 and is a member of the National Football League's 1970s All-Decade Team . In 1978 he received the Bert Bell Award . He moved to the post of commentator, first on the radio for CBS and later on TV for FOX . He is now also the owner of a NASCAR racing team. In 2006 he made his return to the field when he signed a contract with an American Indoor Football League team . Due to injury complaints, however, he could not be used.

Bradshaw has also made several appearances on television series, including Blossom , Malcolm in the Middle , A Terribly Nice Family , The League, and Modern Family . He voiced himself in an episode of The Simpsons . He was also seen in 1981 in the film On the Highway All Hell Lose on the side of Burt Reynolds and Roger Moore and in 2006 in Seduced To Undress with Sarah Jessica Parker . Since 2016, he has been one of the protagonists of the reality travel series Better Late Than Never, along with Henry Winkler , George Foreman and William Shatner . In February 2019, Bradshaw retired as Deer in the third episode of the US offshoot of The Masked Singer .
