In the 2008 season he was used again for the first time as a punt returner. But he still achieved his greatest successes as a wide receiver, where he again performed well despite a brief jail sentence for drug abuse. His previous career highlight was the Super Bowl XLIII . He scored the crucial touchdown 35 seconds before the end of the game and caught nine passes for 134 yards, whereupon he was elected Super Bowl MVP . In the week leading up to the Super Bowl , he reported to the press that he had been drugged in his hometown of Belle Glade for a year when he was young.
