Monika Anna Wojtyllo (born October 29, 1977 in Wroclaw ) is a Polish director , actress and author .

Since her parents were theater people, her father Ryszard Wojtyllo was a director and actor, and her mother Aleksandra Wojtyllo was an actress and thus often on tour, Monika Anna Wojtyllo was on stage for the first time at the age of three. In 1983 the family left Poland for political reasons . As a child, Monika Wojtyllo was granted independent political asylum in the Federal Republic of Germany .

In Hamburg , the parents joined the cabaret PIKA (Polska Inicjatywa Kulturalno Artystyczna) (founded by Zdzisław Twardoch, Cezary Janos and Anna Janiszewska ) , which deals with the problems of emigrants in Polish . At the age of 14, Monika Anna Wojtyllo did her first internship at Norddeutscher Rundfunk . First roles as an actress followed.

In 1997 Monika Anna Wojtyllo graduated from high school. This was followed by internships and assistants in film and television in the areas of editing, lighting, recording management, production and directing as well as work on his own short film projects. Subsequently, Monika Anna Wojtyllo worked as a presenter and editor for the Internet television broadcaster CyberRadioTV in Hamburg, where she designed a business program and a cinema program. In between, Monika Anna Wojtyllo works as an actress in German television productions.

In March 2008 she completed her studies in film directing at the University of Film and Television Konrad Wolf , HFF, with the diploma film Polska Love Serenade and at the end of 2008 she founded the filmmaker group “Berliner Sonderschule”.
