Jonas Grosch

Jonas Grosch (born November 25, 1981 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) is a German film director and screenwriter .

Life

Jonas Grosch first studied comparative literature and philosophy , then screenwriting / dramaturgy at the University of Film and Television Potsdam (HFF). In 2007 he made his debut with the first screening of the documentary The White with Black Bread , in 2008 this film was shown in German cinemas for the first time. In 2009 he made his first feature film, Résiste - Aufstand der Praktikanten , which was also his graduation film at the HFF.

Jonas Grosch is the son of Sabine Wackernagel and brother of Katharina Wackernagel , with whom he lived for nine years in a shared apartment in Berlin. His uncle, through whom he made the documentary The White with Black Bread, is Christof Wackernagel .
