The Giant Inverted Boomerang is a roller coaster model of the Shuttle Coaster type from the manufacturer Vekoma .

The routing of the Giant Inverted Boomerang is similar to the routing of the Boomerang roller coaster model from the same manufacturer. The differences in the routing are that the two towers have an incline of 90 °, the looping does not run parallel to the station, but is located diagonally above the station and the Cobra-Roll is driven through in a different direction.

The train is pulled up a 58 m high vertical tower backwards with a cable. Once at the top, the train disengages and moves forward down the tower and through the station into the 33.5 m high Cobra Roll. After the Cobra Roll, the train goes into the 31 m high loop and up the second, also vertical tower. Here the train latches in again and is pulled back to the 58 m height. Now the train disengages and reverses the route. Arrived at the first tower again, the train is caught and slowly lowered to the station.

Trains

The trains of the Giant Inverted Boomerang have eight cars with space for four people (one row for four people). The outer seats each row are slightly offset to the rear, so that each row of seats resemble a V has. Passengers must be between 1.37 m and 1.93 m tall to be allowed to ride. Shoulder straps are used as a restraint system.

Problems

Problems with this type of roller coaster increased when the train was reversing the route. He did not have enough speed to get through the Cobra Roll and therefore came to a stop in it. For this reason, an exit platform at the top of the Cobra Roll has been retrofitted on these railways.
