Willie Everette Parker (born November 11, 1980 in Clinton , North Carolina ) is a retired American football player. Parker played as a running back in the National Football League (NFL) for the Pittsburgh Steelers from 2004 to 2009 and then moved to the Washington Redskins .

He spent his college years as a substitute at the University of North Carolina . He was not selected by any NFL team in the NFL Draft in 2004, but still got a contract with the Steelers.

On February 5, 2006, he won the Super Bowl XL with the Pittsburgh Steelers against the Seattle Seahawks . He was able to repeat this success with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2009 when Pittsburgh again won the Super Bowl against the Arizona Cardinals . He was elected to the Pro Bowl in the 2006 and 2007 seasons . In 2008 and 2009 he struggled with injury problems several times.

After he got in the 2009 season as a substitute for Rashard Mendenhall little playing time, he signed on April 2, 2010 a one-year contract with the Washington Redskins. There, however, it did not make it into the final roster.

After his playing career began to work as a coach. In 2015, he started as a running back coach at Heritage High School in Wake Forest , North Carolina . The former NFL player Dewayne Washington works as head coach and Torry Holt supports him as assistant head coach and trainer of the wide receivers .
