The Super Bowl XLI was the 41th Super Bowl , the final game of the 2006 season of the National Football League (NFL) in American football .
On February 4, 2007, the National Football Conference (NFC) champions, the Chicago Bears , and the American Football Conference (AFC) champions, the Indianapolis Colts , faced each other at Dolphins Stadium in Miami Gardens , Florida . The Indianapolis Colts won with a final score of 29:17. Indianapolis' quarterback Peyton Manning has been named Super Bowl MVP . Super Bowl XLI was the ninth Super Bowl in the Miami area and as many Super Bowls were played there as in New Orleans , Louisiana .

Semifinals Course of the game Most of the points were made in the first half of the game, so the Bears took the lead with a touchdown on the first kickoff return , then the Colts followed, but did not make the subsequent extra point. The Bears were able to score a touchdown in the same quarter. In the second 15 minutes, Adam Vinatieri made a field goal for the Colts and the team ran a touchdown, which gave them the lead 16:14. Two more field goals and another touchdown followed in the second half. The Bears also caught up with a field goal in the 44th minute of the game. However, since the Colts were able to run an interception to a touchdown in the last quarter , the attempts from Chicago had failed and the final score of 29:17 was fixed.
