Roberto Garza (* 26. March 1979 in Rio Hondo , Texas ) is a former American American football poker players on the positions of the Right Guards and Centers . He played in his career with the Atlanta Falcons and the Chicago Bears in the National Football League (NFL).

Early years

Garza attended high school in the town of Rio Hondo, Texas, where he was born. He later attended Texas A&M University-Kingsville .

NFL

Atlanta Falcons

Garza was selected in the fourth round of the 2001 NFL Draft in 99th place by the Atlanta Falcons . He stayed with the Falcons for four years, during which he was mostly not part of the permanent staff, but got his working days.

Chicago Bears

Prior to the 2005 season , he signed a one-year contract with the Chicago Bears . After the season, he signed a six-year deal with the Bears. He initially played mostly in the position of right guard with the Bears. It was not until the 2011 season that he returned to his traditional position as a center. After he was finally released from the Bears on April 2, 2015, he ended his career.
