Dexter Devon Reid (* 18th March 1981 in Norfolk , Virginia ) is a former American American football poker players. He played three seasons in the position of safety in the National Football League (NFL).
NFL
New England Patriots
Reid was selected in the 2004 NFL Draft as the 113th player in the fourth round by the New England Patriots . In his rookie season he played thirteen games during the regular season , two of them as a starter . In addition, he played in all three play-off games of the Patriots, with which he won the Super Bowl XXXIX . On August 29, 2005, Reid was released by the Patriots.
Indianapolis Colts
On August 31, 2005, Reid was signed by the Indianapolis Colts . On September 3, 2006, Reid was fired, but on October 26, 2006 again signed by the Colts. In 2006 he won the Super Bowl XLI with the Colts and thus his second championship. On February 21, 2007, he was released from the Colts.
