Paul Christian Kruger Jr (* 15. February 1986 in Rexburg , Idaho ) is a former American American football poker players in the National Football League (NFL). He last played for the New Orleans Saints as an outside linebacker . With the Baltimore Ravens he could win the Super Bowl XLVII .

college

Kruger attended the University of Utah and played college football for their team, the Utes . He was enlisted as a quarterback in 2004 . After a year in Redshirt , Kruger served two years as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints . He then ran in 2007 and 2008 for the Utes as the right defensive end .

NFL

Baltimore Ravens

Kruger was selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the second round of the 2009 NFL Draft as a 57th overall. He was used in the following seasons both as a defensive end and as a linebacker . In 2012 he and his team won the Super Bowl XLVII against the San Francisco 49ers , where he got two sacks .

Cleveland Browns

On March 12, 2013, he was awarded a $ 40 million five-year contract with the Cleveland Browns . For three seasons he was used in every game of the Browns.

New Orleans Saints

On August 31, 2016, Kruger was signed by the New Orleans Saints .

On March 9, 2017, the Saints declared him a free agent .
