Anquan Boldin Kenmile (* 3. October 1980 in Pahokee , Florida ) is a former American American football poker players on the position of wide receiver . He played in the National Football League (NFL), including for the Arizona Cardinals , the Baltimore Ravens , the San Francisco 49ers and the Detroit Lions . With the Ravens he won the Super Bowl ( XLVII ).

College football

Anquan Boldin played college football for Florida State University . In 23 games he caught a total of 118 passes for 1,790 yards of space and 21 touchdowns .

NFL career

In the 2003 NFL Draft , Boldin was selected by the Arizona Cardinals in the second round as the 54th player.

Arizona Cardinals

In his first season in the NFL, Boldin broke numerous records. He set a new debut record in his first NFL game with 217 receiving yards and caught 101 passes for 1,377 yards throughout the season. At the 2004 Pro Bowl , he was the only rookie nominated . After his first season, he was voted Offensive Rookie of the Year . In his remaining six seasons in Arizona, Boldin broke several other records (e.g. fastest 500 passes captured in the NFL). He was elected to the Pro Bowl two more times.

Baltimore Ravens

On March 5, 2010 Boldin moved together with a draft right in the 5th round from the Arizona Cardinals, who received two draft rights (round 3 and 4) in exchange, to the Baltimore Ravens. In his third and final season with the Ravens, he won the Super Bowl XLVII with his club .

San Francisco 49ers

On March 11, 2013, Boldin joined the San Francisco 49ers. In exchange, the Ravens received a sixth-round draft right from the 49ers. In his first game at his new club, Boldin caught 13 passes for 208 yards of space and a touchdown. He became the first player to gain more than 100 yards of space for three teams in his first game.

Detroit Lions

During the 2016 off-season , the Detroit Lions signed him for a year.

After the 2016 season , he was released into the Free Agency by the Lions .

Buffalo Bills

On August 7, 2017, Boldin signed a contract with the Buffalo Bills .

Just 13 days after signing his contract with the Bills, Boldin surprisingly announced his retirement and retirement from the NFL on August 21, 2017 .
