Jason R. Pinkston (* 5. September 1987 in Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania ) is a former American American football poker players on the position of the Guards . He played in his three-year professional career between 2011 and 2013 for the Cleveland Browns in the National Football League (NFL).

Early years

Pinkston went to high school in his native Pittsburgh. He later attended the University of Pittsburgh , where he also played for the college football team.

NFL

Pinkston was selected by the Cleveland Browns as the 150th player in the 2011 NFL draft in the fifth round . In his first season he started in all 16 games of the season as a left guard for the Browns, after an injury to the actual left guard Eric Steinbach . In his second year he started the season as well. After six games, however, Pinkston was put on the Browns' injury list after a blood clot was found in his lungs. In 2013 he only played three games. Before the 2014 season , on August 5, he signed a health-related waiver with the Browns after he was discovered to have another blood clot in his lungs.

Jason Pinkston is the cousin of Todd Pinkston , a former wide receiver in the National Football League (including the Philadelphia Eagles ).
