The Ginásio Gigantinho (also Gigantinho for short ; Portuguese : for "little giant") is a sports hall in Porto Alegre , Brazil . It has space for 15,000 visitors and is also used for concerts . International greats like Eric Clapton or the Red Hot Chili Peppers have performed here.

The arena is the sixth largest of its kind in Brazil and opened on November 4, 1973. It is located on the Beira-Rio riverside complex of the Sport Club Internacional and is right next to the Beira-Rio Estádio . The arena, which covers an area of ​​7,200 square meters , is used for concerts and sporting events and has a soccer field and offers 13,000 seats for sporting and game events. The team cabins are located opposite on both sides of the arena and are protected from reporters and the press. Part of the arena complex includes bathrooms , a fitness center , a library and several restaurants and bars . 15,000 seats are available for concerts.
