Laura Pomportes (born April 16, 1989 in Toulouse ) is a former French squash player .
Career
Laura Pomportes began her professional career in the 2008 season on the PSA World Tour, where she won a title. She reached her highest position in the world rankings in July 2015 with rank 51.
With the French national team , she took part in the World Cup in 2012 , 2014 and 2016 . At European Championships , she was runner- up with the team four times in a row from 2014 to 2017 . She reached the quarter-finals in all of her four appearances at the European Championships in singles from 2012 to 2015 . In 2012 and 2014 she was French runner- up behind Camille Serme .
In July 2017 she married the squash player Mathieu Castagnet . Shortly before, she had ended her career on medical advice because of a hip injury.
