European squash championship 2012

The 12 Squash Championships in individual ( english European Individual Closed Championships ) found from 23 to 26, 2012 in Helsinki , Finland instead. The host was the European Squash Federation .

Defending champion for men was Grégory Gaultier , for women Natalie Grinham . Gaultier did not take part again this year. In the final Olli Tuominen and Borja Golán faced each other. Tuominen won the game 11: 8, 11: 9 and 11: 3. In the women’s final, Natalie Grinham reached the final again, but lost to Camille Serme . Serme won with 8:11, 11: 6, 11: 6 and 11: 9. It was the first title win for both Tuominen and Serme.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 29 players, that of the women's competition consisted of 16 players. There was no qualification for the men, for the women there were five starting places for qualifiers. No wildcards were given. There is no prize money or world ranking points at European championships. In both fields, positions three and four, positions five to eight and positions nine to 16 were set in the form of a grouped setting. These settlements are therefore given in alphabetical order below.
