Trofeo Piva
The Trofeo Banca Popolare di Vicenza (short: Trofeo Piva ) is an Italian road bike race . The one-day race takes place in the metropolitan city of Venice at Col San Martino .
The bike race has been held for the U23 class since 2001. Since 2005 the race has been part of the then newly introduced UCI Europe Tour and is there in the UCI category 1.2U. Only cyclists under the age of 23 are allowed to start in this category .
There has never been a cyclist who has won the race several times. Felix Großschartner and Gregor Mühlberger already won from the German-speaking area . Both come from Austria .
