Mirco Lorenzetto

Mirco Lorenzetto (born July 19, 1981 in Vittorio Veneto ) is a former Italian cyclist and later sports director .

Lorenzetto was able to win two stages of the Tour de Berlin and the Trofeo Banca Populare Piva as a U23 rider in 2002. In 2004 he got his first contract with an international cycling team , the Italian team De Nardi . After a merger, he drove for Domina Vacanze in the 2005 season . He was considered a strong sprinter and won stages of the Mediterranean Tour , the Tour of Valencia , the Presidential Cycling Tour , the Giro di Sardegna and the Tour of Poland as well as the one-day race Giro del Friuli during his elite career .

In 2011, at the age of 30, Lorenzetto retired from cycling and became the sporting director of an elite team led by his father. He planned to found a cycling school.
