Het Nieuwsblad
Het Nieuwsblad is a Dutch- language daily newspaper from Belgium . Like De Standaard and Het Volk, it is published by Vlaamse Uitgeversmaatschappij Media NV (VUM). It is one of the popular newspapers such as Het laatste Nieuws . Sports and regional topics make up a large part of the content. Since 2003 there has been a Sunday edition, which is only sold at bakers and newspaper kiosks. The newspaper has been published in a more manageable version since October 2005 .

The newspaper sells 212,000 times a day (combined with De Gentenaar ). The number of readers is around 800,000 people daily. This combination is the second most popular in Belgium, after Het Laatste Nieuws- De Nieuwe Gazet .
Het Nieuwsblad op Zondag has a circulation of 100,000.
