Jane Martin is a former English squash player .
Career
Jane Martin was active on the WSA World Tour from 1991 to 1999 and won three titles in a total of six finals. She reached her highest place in the world rankings with ninth place in December 1995.
With the English national team , she won the title at European Championships three times in a row from 1996 to 1998 . With the national team she took in 1998 at the World Cup in part. In the final against Australia , Martin lost her game against Carol Owens 3-0.
Between 1992 and 1998 Jane Martin was five times in the main draw of the individual world championships. Except for 1992, she reached the round of 16 in all participations. She was part of the English squad at the 1998 Commonwealth Games and competed alongside Linda Charman in the doubles competition, where they reached the quarter-finals.
