Monte Carlo Classic 2009

The Monte Carlo Classic 2009 took place from December 7th to 11th, 2009 in Monte Carlo , Monaco , in the Stade Louis II . The women's squash tournament was part of the WSA World Tour 2009/10 and belonged to the WSA Silver 20 category . The prize pool was $ 25,300.

Last year's winner Laura Massaro successfully defended her title. In the final, the top seeded Massaro defeated the second seeded Madeline Perry 11: 5, 11: 9, 11:13, 2:11 and 11: 6. It was Massaro's sixth title win on the World Tour.

The field of participants in the women's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were starting places for qualifiers. The eight best players were seeded. A wildcard was not awarded.
