Federal Public Service Justice

The Federal Public Service Justice (abbreviated FPS Justice , Dutch Federale Overheidsdienst Justitie , French Service public fédéral Justice ) is the Ministry of Justice of the Kingdom of Belgium and one of fourteen Federal Public Services in Belgium. Until 2001 it was called the Ministry of Justice . The seat is in the city ​​of Brussels .

It was founded by royal order (Arrêté royal) on May 23, 2001 in the course of the activities of the Verhofstadt I cabinet to modernize the state administration ( Copernicushervorming of 1999). The conversion was formally completed on July 15, 2002.
