The Förstina mineral sparkling Ehrhardt & Sohn GmbH & Co. is a soft drink - and mineral water producer with headquarters in Eichenzell in Fulda district in Hesse .

The company was founded in Neuhof in 1928 by Justus Ehrhardt and his wife Elisabeth as Mineral- und Heilbrunnen Förstina . The first products were mineral water and soda . 30 years after the company was founded, Rudolf Ehrhardt relocated the company headquarters to Lütter in the Eichenzell community in 1958. After almost 80 years of existence, the Mineralbrunnen is now in the third generation of the family. The company still produces apple juice and spritzer from self-pressed fruit.

The Förstina springs (especially the Marienquell ) in the Rhön were already known in the Middle Ages , first documented mention in 1200. Today the springs are located in the Hessian Rhön Nature Park and are also known as the “Rhön Treasure”.
