Joining by forming
The joining by forming a group of manufacturing processes leading to the main group , add one. The individual processes use methods that come from the main group forming . The most important processes are riveting, clinching and flanging. The auxiliary parts (rivets) or the workpieces themselves are partially formed. The following manufacturing processes are used for joining by forming:
- Notches
- Grains
- Collar joining
- Expanses
- Spread
- Narrow
- Necking
- Beading
- Fold
- To bend
- Lapping
- Rivets
- Clinching (clinching)
For wire-shaped workpieces, the wire is suitable weave , the common twisting , stranding , splicing , node , wire weave and stapling .
