For all cases Brecht is a Bertolt Brecht - Anthology six topic separate volumes, in 2009 Suhrkamp Verlag appeared. It was published by Albert Ostermaier .

According to the publisher's advertising, the individually published volumes in pocket size contain the “best” of Bertolt Brecht. In doing so, they were newly selected and structured according to thematic aspects by prominent Brecht experts, so that now each volume turns to a different motif.

For example, Feridun Zaimoglu put together the opening volume of the series on the main topic of "Seduction", Charles Schumann devoted himself to the subject of "Intoxication", Albert Ostermaier selected texts for a compilation of "Music", while Thea Dorn in her volume on "Crime" in Brecht's texts. Maxim Biller and Georg M. Oswald recently published the volumes on "Treason" and "Capital".

The book presentation of the series took place on May 3, 2009 in the foyer of Brechts Berliner Ensemble in the Theater am Schiffbauerdamm with Albert Ostermaier, Georg M. Oswald, Michael Lentz and Claudia Roth . Other actors or authors such as Udo Wachtveitl and Friedrich Ani took part in later readings from the selection . As early as April 17th, the volumes were on the recommendation list for the SWR television program Literatur in the foyer .
