The Fürstenhof in Bad Wildungen is a former hotel that is now used as a clinic. It shows neo-baroque forms.

history

The building was completed in two sections in 1902 by a local hotelier. The house quickly achieved a worldwide reputation. Especially members of the Russian nobility frequented the house during their treatment . With the outbreak of the First World War and the resulting absence of this audience, the decline of the "Weltbad" Bad Wildungen began , which also affected the Fürstenhof.

Due to the restructuring of the spa business in the following decades, the house could no longer live up to its reputation as a luxury hotel of world renown. In the late 1960s, a large part of the interior was auctioned. Today the Asklepios Fachklinik Fürstenhof (specialist clinic for internal diseases, cardiovascular and vascular diseases, follow-up treatment (AHB + AR), medical rehabilitation and prevention) is located in this building.
