Fırat Üniversitesi SK is a Turkish football club from Elazığ and the university team of Fırat University . The club's greatest success so far was the one-year season in the TFF 1st Lig .
history
Fırat Üniversitesi SK was founded in 1989. In the 1996/97 season they played in the 3rd Lig and took tenth place in the table. In the following season 1997/98 the team increased their performance and rose as first place and with 70 points for the first time in the club's history in the TFF 1st Lig , then still under the name of 2nd Lig , on. There you could not hold, however, with a goal difference of 35:79 in the relegation round, the club had to go back to the 3rd Lig.
