F circle

The F-Kreis (also Wirtschaftsführererkreis) was an organization of industrialists to advise the German Propaganda Ministry on questions of German foreign propaganda.

It was founded in the spring of 1933 at the suggestion of Walther Funk . Every two months the members met with Joseph Goebbels for a discussion in Max Ilgner's office . Ivy Lee , who managed advertising work for Standard Oil , was brought in for advice . The F-Circle distributed press articles by u. a. Hjalmar Schacht and General Walter von Reichenau as well as records. Gustav Krupp and Hjalmar Schacht spoke on the radio .

In September 1933 he joined the advertising council of the German economy .
