FIRE ( F ast, I ngenious and R isky E limination) is a horizontally-scrolling shoot-'em-up - video game , which in the 1988 Czechoslovakia appeared.

Gameplay

With a spaceship the player flies over a planet's surface and has to clear all kinds of opponents out of the way. Initially equipped with a weak laser cannon , he can improve his weapon system by collecting power-ups or become immortal for a limited time with a protective shield and increase speed. If the player loses a life (initially three), his upgrades are reset.

The aim of this shooter is to successfully complete four levels including the boss , then the levels are repeated until the player has no lives left. Of course, the highest possible high score should be achieved.

The gameplay is influenced by Gradius .
