André Ortolf (born March 3, 1994 in Augsburg ) is a German foreign trade merchant who (as of 2018) set 71 world records and holds the most Guinness world records in Germany.

Life

André Ortolf was fascinated by the Guinness Book of Records as a child , but thought he would never be able to break a record himself. As a teenager he discovered his passion for athletics and joined an Augsburg athletics club.

Friends motivated him to try a Guinness world record. On October 25, 2013 he started his first attempt in the category “Fastest 100 meters in clogs”. The record was recognized in February 2014 and since then he has improved it several times.

Ortolf achieved international fame in 2014 when he first appeared on a TV show. On Australian television, he first talked about his goal of holding 100 world records at the same time. Since then he has appeared regularly in various TV formats. So he performed in the ZDF television garden , Always on Sundays ( Das Erste ), Hard to believe! ( NDR ), in The Quiz, for which Jörg Pilawa had no more time ( Sat.1 ) and in the Channel 9 Morningshow (Australia, 2014).

Ortolf is a trained foreign trade clerk and works in the family business for recycling.
