The FC Allschwil is established on December 31, 1907 Soccer Team of Allschwil in Switzerland . It is one of the oldest and most traditional associations in Allschwil and with over 700 members also one of the largest. FC Allschwil is a member of the Swiss Football Association . The club magazine , cluborgan , appeared quarterly and reported on club events and individual events. A newsletter is available today, reporting on club events. The club colors are red and blue.
history
On New Year's Eve 1907, FC Allschwil was founded by Albin Simon. The first football game was played on the Bachmatte on New Year's Day . Hans Butz and Gusti Hofer joined the founder, who took over as coach. At the first meeting on January 7, 1908, Hans Butz was elected the first president of FC Allschwil. His job was to get material for pants and t-shirts. Red and blue were chosen as club colors. The venue was a mat provided by a farmer. If the lawn was not mowed, the game was canceled and a member brought the goal posts with him every Sunday. The population was not very enthusiastic, but more and more people joined FC Allschwil. The membership fee was initially 20 cents per month.
Sports facilities
The new Im Brüel facility with an artificial turf and a natural turf is currently available as a venue . It has been in operation since 2007, after the population of Allschwil approved a building by vote in 2005 . The facility, which is to the right of the Bachgraben area, has modern changing rooms, office space and a standing room. Admission to the games is free of charge, but the juniors present collect donations to promote and intensify junior work. There is also a club restaurant. Alternatively, the garden courtyard , the elephant field and the UBS facility are also used.
Teams
At FC Allschwil you can play football from the age of five. The FCA offers teams from piccolos to veterans throughout. The 1st team currently plays in the 2nd interregional league . Every year, FC Allschwil organizes a one-week training camp for E to C juniors in Diepoldsau .
successes
The first team of FC Allschwil was able to win the Basler Cup, which entitles it to participate in the Swiss Cup, several times, the first time in 1941. The FCA also won this competition from 1946 to 1948, 1950 and from 1956 to 1958. Between 1927 and 1931, FC Allschwil was represented in the second highest division , and in the 1948/49 season it entered the first division , the third highest division in Switzerland. In 1978 he reached the first division again and stayed there until the end of the 1983/84 season. In 2007, the Schwellheimers were able to sign the Super League experienced Sehid Sinani, who previously played for FC Thun . In 2010, FC Allschwil Northwest Switzerland became champions in the 2nd regional league and thus qualified for the 2nd interregional league.
