The FC Bülach is a football club based in the Swiss town of Bulach . The men's team currently plays in the 2nd division . At its sporting peak, the club played for four years from the 1994/95 season in the first division , the third highest division in Switzerland. The club was already represented there in 1962, but then only for one season. In the sporting field, the last 20 years have been the most successful in the club's history. The FC Bülach Fanion team achieved the title of group champion in the second division six times. In the 1994/1995 season, for the first time in 31 years, they were promoted to the first division. After relegation (1998), the club rose in the 1999/2000 season in the newly created 2nd division.
The women's team currently plays in the 3rd division .
The club was founded in 1917 and plays its home games at the Erachfeld stadium, which was inaugurated in 1963. The capacity is 3500 standing places and 144 covered seats. A training field with artificial turf has been available behind the main stand since 2011.
