The FC Echallens Région is a football club in Switzerland from the community Echallens in the canton of Vaud . The team currently plays in the 1st League Classic , the fourth highest league in Switzerland.
history
The club was founded on July 1, 1921 as FC Echallens, in the district of the same name in the canton of Vaud . The team plays its home games on the Trois Sapins sports field, which has a capacity of around 3000 spectators. The sports facility only has standing room. The best-known exponents from the history of this club include coach Lucien Favre, known in Germany, and the two former national players Ludovic Magnin and Blaise Nkufo . In the summer of 2013, the club's board renamed the club FC Echallens Région and introduced a new club logo.
