The FC Ellikon Marthalen is a Swiss football club from Ellikon am Rhein in Marthalen . The first team currently plays in the 3rd division of the Zurich Region Football Association.
history
The club, founded in 1934, played in the deepest leagues. In 1977 the club made it to the 3rd division. As a result, they were at the top of their group for two seasons, but missed promotion to the 2nd division each time. In the Swiss Cup 2011/12 , FC Ellikon Marthalen was able to qualify for the main round. There they lost in the first round against the second division club FC Freienbach with 3:10. Today the club plays in the 3rd division.
