The FFC Zuchwil 05 was a women's football club from Zuchwil in the canton of Solothurn . Between 1999 and 2011 he played in the National League A in Swiss women's football. Their venue was in the Zuchwil sports center . The main square offers 1000 standing places.

history

The club was founded in 1970 as DFC Solothurn . In 1990 the DFC Zuchwil came into being and today's association FFC Zuchwil 05 was founded on March 13, 2005 .

They achieved promotion to the top division in 1999 and have since celebrated some successes. In 2004 and 2006 they became vice Swiss champions, which resulted in participation in the UEFA Women's Cup . In 2006 they also won the League Cup. On May 19, 2007, the FFC Zuchwil 05 became Swiss champions for the first time in the history of the reigning champions LUwin.ch.

In the 2010/11 season they only reached 9th place in the championship and had to go to the barrage. With one win, four draws and one defeat, it was finally relegated to National League B. In December 2011, the game was stopped and the National League B withdrew. The players were released on December 4th. The U-18 and U-16 teams of the club continue to run under the direction of the Solothurn Football Association.
