Film + Schule NRW is a joint initiative of the Ministry for Schools and Further Education NRW and the LWL Media Center for Westphalia and works as a nationwide service agency with the aim of providing practical support to teachers and multipliers and systematically integrating film education into the teaching of North Rhine-Westphalian schools .
In addition, Film + Schule NRW, together with Vision Kino, organizes the SchulKinoWochen NRW once a year , the state's largest film educational project.
Advanced training
In addition to regular specialist conferences, the initiative is represented at various congresses and events with workshops and forums. Regularly at the NRW-Forum, as a partner of Vision Kino at the Vision Kino-Kongress, the education congress in Cologne, the Medienpass-Kongress and similar events. In addition, Film + Schule NRW offers the qualification of specialist moderators and media consultants as well as other multipliers of teacher training within the framework of film education.
With the label "Excellent!" Film + Schule NRW recommends selected feature, animation and documentary films. With each newsletter, Film + Schule NRW publishes its own film tip.
