FIRAC
The FIRAC ( French Fédération internationale des radioamateurs cheminots ) is an international umbrella organization for amateur radio .
The association was founded in Hamburg in 1964 . It includes radio amateurs who work in the railway sector.

There are country organizations in Belgium , Bulgaria , Germany , Finland , France , Great Britain , Italy , Luxembourg , Norway , Austria , Poland , Romania , Sweden , Switzerland , Slovenia , the Czech Republic / Slovakia , Ukraine and Hungary . Railway workers from other countries can become individual members of FIRAC directly.
activities
The association organizes radio operations between members, an annual congress, amateur radio contests and issues amateur radio diplomas for radio amateurs.
