FK Dainava Alytus was a Lithuanian football club from Alytus that played in the A Lyga from 2011 to 2014 .
history
The club was founded in 2003 under the name FK Alytus , before it was renamed FK Dainava Alytus in December 2010 after it merged with FK Vidzgiris Alytus .
In the 2011 season they successfully acquired the license for A Lyga , the top division in Lithuania, after the two previous clubs finished 1 Lyga 2010 in second and third place. After finishing eighth, they play first class again in 2012 .
