The FSV Dippoldiswalde is a German football club from Dippoldiswalde in District Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains . Home is the Dippoldiswalde sports park , which can accommodate 2,000 spectators. The club is in the tradition of SG Dynamo Dippoldiswalde .

The FSV Dippoldiswalde was founded in 1910 under the name FC 1910 Dippoldiswalde . The club acted in central German football until 1945 always lower class, participation in the finals of the Association of Central German Ball Game Clubs or the Gauliga Sachsen did not take place.
In 1945 the club was dissolved and re-established as SG Dippoldiswalde . In the following period, the loose sports group was renamed Dynamo Dippoldiswalde again in 1953 with the entry of the Dynamo sports association , with the football sections of Einheit and Motor Dippoldiswalde being integrated until 1957.
On a sporting level, SG Dippoldiswalde was represented in the Landesliga Sachsen ( SBZ ) for two seasons from 1946 . However , Dippoldiswalde had no chance against larger sports communities such as the later GDR runner-up SG Dresden-Friedrichstadt , the championships were each finished second to last. The subsequent qualification for the third or third party founded in 1952. fourth-rate district league Dresden was missed and was not reached by Dynamo Dippoldiswalde until 1990.
