The FTSE 350 Index (colloquially "Footsie" pronounced Futzi) is a British stock index , the 350 largest shares comprises at the stock exchange in London traded. The index contains all companies that are listed in the FTSE 100 Index and the FTSE 250 Index . He is determined by the FTSE Group , which emerged from a joint venture between the London Stock Exchange and the Financial Times .

calculation

The FTSE 350 is a price index and represents 90 percent of the market capitalization of the London Stock Exchange (LSE). It contains the 100 largest UK companies listed in the FTSE 100 Index and the 250 largest UK mid-sized companies ( Mid Caps ) listed in the FTSE 250 Index . The index level of the FTSE 350 is determined exclusively on the basis of the share prices and only adjusted for income from subscription rights and special payments. Dividend payments are not included in the calculation of the index. Corporate actions such as stock splits have no (distorting) influence on the index.

The calculation is updated in real time during LSE trading hours from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm local time (9:00 am to 5:30 pm CET) and published every minute. The investment universe includes all companies headquartered in Great Britain that are listed on the London Stock Exchange. To create a shortlist, the companies in the investment universe are sorted in descending order according to market capitalization from rank 350 to first. The composition of the FTSE 350 is reviewed quarterly in March, June, September and December. The underlying was the closing price of the FTSE All-Share Index of 682.94 points on December 31, 1985.
