Fabián Trujillo , full name Jorge Fabián Trujillo Cáceres (born July 6, 1986 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

According to his club, the midfielder , who is 1.86 meters tall, began his career in 2005 at Club Atlético Cerro , where he has been in the squad since at least the 2006 Clausura . In the 2005/06 season he rose with his team in the Segunda División . In 2006/07 the promotion to the Primera División , in which the club has been since then, was already secured as third in the table . In 2009, he and his teammates won the Copa Artigas (Liguilla Pre Libertadores 2009, Trujillo's record: six substitutes), which meant qualifying for the subsequent Copa Libertadores competition, in which Trujillo played four games as a substitute. When he left the club after the contract expired on July 31, 2011, 73 top division games with eleven goals were recorded for him from and including the Clausura 2008. For the 2011/12 season, “Truja” was awarded to Centro Atlético Fénix . There he was used, among other things, in an encounter between the Copa Sudamericana and Universidad de Chile , in which he was sent off after just 30 minutes. For the 2012/13 season he returned to Cerro and completed 21 league games by the end of the season. He scored a goal. In mid-January 2014 he moved to the second division club Atlético Progreso and played ten second division games (one goal) there in the Clausura 2014. In the Apertura 2015 he ran in 14 other games (one goal) of the Segunda División. From January 8, 2015, he continued his career in Ecuador at LDU Portoviejo . After 13 league appearances (no goal) in Primera B, he returned to Progreso in early October 2015. In the second division season 2015/16, he completed 13 league games (one goal).
