Fabian Burke

Fabian Burke (born May 5, 1978 in Kitchener , Ontario ) is a retired American football and Canadian football player. He played four seasons as cornerback in the Canadian Football League (CFL).

Career

After Burke College Football played at the University of Toledo , he was selected in the 2001 CFL Draft as the 13th player by the Edmonton Eskimos . In 2003 he played for the first time in all 18 games and won the Gray Cup with the Eskimos that same year . In February 2004 his contract with sen Eskimos was extended. He was released in August 2004. He spent the rest of the season with the BC Lions . During the offseason of  the 2005 season , the Ottawa Renegades signed him . On June 18, 2005, he was released from the Renegades.
