Fabian Erlinghäuser
Fabian Erlinghäuser (born October 23, 1976 in Cologne ) is a German animator , illustrator and cartoonist .
Life
Erlinghäuser attended the Friedrich-Wilhelm-Gymnasium in Cologne until 1996 . Since May 2000 he has worked for the Irish animation film studio Cartoon Saloon , including as animation director for the Oscar-nominated films Brendan and the Secret of Kells (2009), The Melody of the Sea (2014) and The Bread Maker (2017).
Erlinghäuser has been drawing Disney comics as an illustrator for Egmont Verlag since 2012 . Every year he teaches at the animation workshop in Viborg, Denmark .
At the end of June 2020, Erlinghäuser became a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences .
