Fabian Mathias Waldenmaier (* 6. January 1977 in Bergheim ) is a former German downhill mountain bike - racer and current cycling official and coach.

Fabian Waldenmaier began his MTB career in 1990. Initially active in cross country , he switched to MTB downhill in 1993 and raced until 2001. Due to a serious car accident and his sports studies, he ended his racing career in 2001 and switched to the organizational area of ​​cycling .

In 2010 Waldenmaier was the head of a small racing series and was appointed national downhill trainer in autumn 2011. In autumn 2012, the Association of German Cyclists placed the entire mountain bike sector in Germany under his control .
