Benjamin Mathias Strasser (born August 5, 1989 in Neuenbürg ), known as Benny Strasser , is a German downhill mountain biker .

Career

Strasser has been riding semi-professional mountain bike downhill races since 2003 and has been a member of the German national team in this discipline since 2006.

In 2008, in his first elite year, he was third in the German championship. In 2011 he became German downhill champion and has been in the top 40 of the MTB world rankings ever since .

The industrial engineer is a full-time quality manager at his long-term sponsor MAGURA .
