The iXS German Downhill Cup is the most important competition series in German mountain bike downhill sport .

organization

The iXS German Downhill Cup is open to both licensed riders (professionals) and amateur athletes (amateurs). It is also used by international riders from around 20 nations who want to collect UCI points for the Downhill World Cup. The number of starters is between 350 and 650, depending on the route.

Since 2006 the cup has been sponsored by the Swiss cycling clothing brand iXS, which belongs to Hostettler AG . Most of the time, the German Mountain Bike Downhill Championship is also held as part of the Cup (see the DM in the table ).
