Fabien Laurenti (born June 1, 1983 in Marseille ) is a French football player .

Fabien Laurenti started his career as a professional footballer in 2001 in his hometown at Olympique Marseille . At this French top club, however, the defender was unable to prevail and only made 16 appearances in the first division in the following three years . He then moved to AC Ajaccio , where he made over 100 appearances in three seasons before he got a contract with the French first division club RC Lens in the summer of 2007 .

In Lens he fought for a regular place in the defense, but could not prevent relegation to Ligue 2 in the 2007/08 season. In 2009 he made direct resurgence with the club. In the new first division season 2009/10 he could not fight for a regular place, so he was loaned to the second division Stade Brest for half a year during the winter break . In the summer of 2010 he joined the first division promoted AC Arles-Avignon . His contract, which expired in summer 2012, was not extended.

Laurenti remained without a club for a year before he was signed by fourth division US Le Pontet in the summer of 2013. For the 2014/15 season he made the leap into the third division, as he received a contract with the promoted GS Consolat from his hometown of Marseille.
