Fabienne Liechti (born December 19, 1978 in Zurich ) is a Swiss professional dancer and multiple Swiss champion in dance sport in Latin American dance .

Life

Liechti began her dance career at the age of four in a children's dance group, when she was six she began taking ballet and ice skating lessons, followed by dance, piano and singing lessons. When she was 18 years old, she moved to London, where she worked and lived with the German professional dancer Sven Ninnemann for eight years. Liechti then moved to Los Angeles and also trained in acting for commercials and classical singing. Today she lives in Switzerland.

She is best known for her appearances on the American television show American Idol with singer Gloria Estefan and the American Idol Finalists . Further appearances with the drummer and percussionist Sheila E and So You Think You Can Dance dancer Dmitry Chaplin followed. She choreographed and danced with the American television presenter Carrie Ann Inaba and the professional dancer Artem Chigvintsev for the American television series Dancing with the Stars .

She is the multiple Swiss champion in dance sport, multiple finalist of the French Open and Swiss Inter Cup , finalist of the German Open (World Super Series), Romanian Open, Holland Masters, Belgium Open, Swiss Dancesport Festival, took seventh place at the British Open Blackpool Dance Festival in Professional Latin Rising Stars and has been awarded six times by the Swiss Olympic for outstanding international top performance.
