Sven Ninnemann

Sven Ninnemann (* 15. December 1974 in Berlin ) is a German professional dancer in the areas of standard and Latin , which for several years in Switzerland lives.

Career

Ninnemann started dancing in a children's group at the age of six. He celebrated his first successes at the age of twelve in school and youth dance tournaments. At this stage he also decided that in the future he would only want to devote himself to Latin dances. He moved to London and started competing for Denmark in international competitions with a Danish colleague before he met the Swiss Fabienne Liechti . The two formed a couple, both privately and professionally, which led to Sven Ninnemann moving to Switzerland, for which he has been competing in dance tournaments since 1998.

Participation in the Eurovision Dance Contest

The television stations SRG and SSR internally selected Sven Ninnemann to represent Switzerland at the first edition of the Eurovision Dance Contest in London on September 1, 2007. His partner was the successful figure skater Denise Biellmann . With their performances of the Paso Dobles and the swing , the couple could not convince the European audience and came in last place with zero points.
