Fabio Concas (born November 17, 1986 in Genoa ) is an Italian football player .

Career

The midfielder began his career with the fourth-rate Savona 1907 FBC . In 2007/08 he played for Carrarese Calcio . Then he moved to Ternana Calcio . In early 2011 Concas was signed by the second division club AS Varese , with whom he narrowly missed promotion to Serie A at the end of the season in fourth . Then he went to third division club FC Carpi . With Carpi he just missed promotion in 2012 due to a defeat against FC Pro Vercelli . In the following year, however, Carpi made the leap to Serie B , in which the club was able to establish itself. In December 2014 Concas was tested positive in the doping control after the game against Modena and banned for two years.
